About

B.Foot Sdn Bhd was founded back in early 2008 by Mr Paul Liew as a family footwear and fashion accessory retail chain with its Brunei operations headquarters located in Gadong, Brunei. He owns and manages the 2nd generation of the largest footwear retail chain store in Brunei. Together, with contribution/investment from family and his savings, he invested entirely on building retail shops in shopping malls and shop houses and buying stocks. Within less than 3 years, he managed to open up 11 outlets throughout Brunei. The first 2 outlets opened back in August 2008 in Giant Rimba and Gadong. Subsequently over the next 2 years, other outlets were also opened up.

The owner/CEO of the company saw that there was high potential to establish a local footwear retail chain developing private labels from the best footwear producing factories around the globe mainly from Brazil, Malaysia and China that meet the mass market needs. Over the years as reputation builds up, many shopping mall owners invited the company to open up shops in their premises, providing early invitation to choose the best shop lot as a form of privilege and advantage.

Today, the organisation’s main company located in British Virgin Islands as well as the setup of a Free Trade Zone in Taiwan makes sure that it’s meeting the competitive demand of the world market and situation. These additional establishments ensured that the marketing and wholesale activities will hopefully assist the declining retail activity in its Brunei operations due to deteriorating economy situation of the retail market.

All shops and consignment counters were designed and renovated by overseas consultants to ensure that the furniture, fixtures and fitting were appealing for the market and to last for years to come. The team managing B.Foot also had prior knowledge and skills that was passed on by an international franchise footwear family company. During the early days, the company invested heavily on facilities, fixed assets such as furniture, vehicles, shop renovations, point-of-sales hardware and software, and human resource.
